About the races

Am I allowed to participate with a service animal?

We can offer human guides for registered participants who may request or require additional assistance. Please contact by June 1, 2020 to submit your request for a human guide.

Are participants allowed to wear a costume?

Costumes are permitted and encouraged at runDisney events! Please note that costumes cannot include a face mask for the safety of all participants. Disneyland® Paris reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests. All participants and their Guests may dress as their favorite character, but must follow these guidelines as determined solely by Disneyland® Paris. Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.

Are the Disneyland Paris Run events walker friendly?

Both runners and walkers who can maintain a 16 minute per mile pace are welcome to participate in the Disneyland Paris Run Events.

Can I use my iPod, MP3 player or headphones?

Headphones may be worn but are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure participant safety.

If my friend or family member is assigned to a different corral, can we change corrals?

Corral placement is based on each individual's anticipated finishing time or submitted proof of time. The person placed in the faster corral is allowed to move back to a slower corral, but no one is allowed to move forward.

Is there a pacing requirement for the race?

There is a 16 minute per mile pace for all the races of the Disneyland Paris princess Run and the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend 5th Edition. The time limits begin when a participant crosses the start line. It is suggested that participants train for a 15 minute per mile pace to allow time for restroom breaks, photo opportunities, and other diversions on the course. The Disneyland Paris - Val d'Europe Half Marathon will be timed using a timing system. The 5K, 8K, 10K, runDisney Kids races will not be timed.

Please place the sticker in the clearly defined area on the gEAR bag prior to arriving at gEAR Bag Check. Once you finish, your race bib will be used to verify your bag when you pick it up. Any gEAR bags not picked up by the end of the race will be taken to Disneyland® Paris Resort Lost & Found.
